Married mother-of-one, 31, tells how she was 'raped by a drunk man sitting next to her on an American Airlines flight' - and how the company dismissed it as a 'nuisance'

Aubrey Lane says she was raped by a drunk man who was seated next to her on a flight from Phoenix to New York City in June
The 31-year-old says the assault happened when she went to use the bathroom on the red eye flight
She told flight attendants and they switched her to a seat in the back of the plane
Authorities were called to the plane when it landed, but only to take Lane to the hospital
The man was not taken into custody and Lane still doesn't know his name
The FBI continues to investigate the alleged assault
Lane is speaking out in hopes that American Airlines and other carriers improve their policies for addressing in-flight assaults
