People, people... (and myself as well, I must remember!)
- The sidewalk is to be shared. Move a little to let others pass. Do not force your fellow pedestrians off the curb or onto adjacent gardens, where they have to step over brick borders or flower beds.
- Newspaper readers, please fold the paper while reading on the bus or subway. Invading fellow riders' personal space with your extended arms holding a fully opened newspaper close to their face is inconsiderate and annoying.
- And, thank you for letting others sit next to you while on public transportation instead of using the space for your bag(s); for moving away from the door so that other passengers may board or get off; for using a low voice while talking on your cell phone and for keeping those conversations short.
- Motorists out there, please follow traffic rules and remember to slow down near school crossings.
